Production Area: Langhe
Produced in vineyards located on the hills of Bricco di Neive. It has a full body, always stern and develops a pleasantly tannic structure. A good match for dishes rich with flavour.
Wine Maker Notes:
Decadent aromas of wild berries, meat and wood. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a long, caressing finish. There's a wonderful texture to this wine.--1996 Piedmont retrospective. Drink Now
Dry & Full Body
Originating in the section of the Barbaresco area Bricco. During the month of August the thinning out of the grapes takes place in the vineyard, followed by a careful selection of the grapes during the harvest. The color is very important in red wine, that's why the stalks are removed from the grapes before pressing them softly. The refinement takes place in small French barrels. The flavor is stern, complex yet pleasant with great structure. To be served with red meat and cheeses.
